Biography

Dr. Niharika Aneja is a seasoned Emergency Medicine Specialist and the Head of the Emergency Department at a 200-bedded tertiary care hospital in Bengaluru. She brings extensive expertise in trauma resuscitation, cardio-neuro emergencies, medical toxicology, and acute care leadership, delivering rapid, evidence-based care across a wide spectrum of emergencies. Known for her calm demeanor under pressure and exceptional clinical acumen, Dr. Aneja excels in managing complex, high-acuity cases while ensuring patient-centered care.

She has successfully implemented and standardized critical life-saving protocols, including Code Blue, STEMI Code, Stroke Code, and Trauma Code, optimizing emergency response workflows and enhancing multidisciplinary coordination. Her proficiency in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), advanced airway management, and procedural guidance supports rapid diagnostics and effective interventions in acute settings. Dr. Aneja is also recognized for her leadership in emergency department operations, clinical governance, staff training, and disaster preparedness.

Dr. Aneja’s academic credentials include a DNB in Emergency Medicine from Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, and an MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. She is pursuing a Professional Certificate in Hospital Management from IIM Bangalore and has cleared Part A of the MRCEM examination. She is a certified instructor in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and Emergency Ultrasound.
