Biography

Dr. Naghmeh Karbasi is a highly experienced Specialist Pediatrician with over 30 years of dedicated service in pediatrics, caring for children from the newborn stage to young adulthood. She is known for her compassionate and comprehensive approach to healthcare, with a strong focus on preventive medicine, nutrition, and patient-family counseling. Fluent in multiple languages, Dr. Karbasi excels in communicating effectively with both her young patients and their families, ensuring a comforting and trustworthy medical experience.

Throughout her career, Dr. Karbasi has taken on numerous leadership roles, including serving as Head of the Pediatrics Department at the Iranian Hospital in Dubai. She has actively contributed to hospital committees such as the infection control committee and has facilitated key pediatric services like asthma clinics, well-baby checkups, and immunization programs. Her clinical skills extend to lifesaving procedures such as neonatal and pediatric resuscitation and exchange transfusions.

She is also a Bringing Baby Home Educator (licensed by the Gottman Institute, Seattle, USA), certified to coach and educate parents—especially those with their first baby—through the crucial first month of life. She provides expert guidance on navigating common newborn challenges, including sleep issues, feeding difficulties, and other early developmental concerns, ensuring parents feel supported and empowered to care for their baby’s well-being.
