Biography

Dr. Mufique Gajdhar is a highly respected Pediatric Surgeon at International Modern Hospital, Dubai, with over 20 years of clinical experience, including 14 years dedicated exclusively to pediatric surgery. He has successfully performed more than 10,000 surgeries and numerous pediatric investigations, establishing himself as a leading specialist in the care of newborns, children, and adolescents.

Dr. Mufique earned his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore, India, in 1999, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur, India, in 2006. He further honed his pediatric surgical expertise through advanced training at Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, India. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and holds life memberships in prestigious professional bodies including the British Association of Pediatric Surgeons, the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, and the Pediatric Endosurgeons Society of India. Dr. Mufique also completed a certification in Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Cornell University, New York, USA.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Mufique has worked in premier healthcare institutions across India, UAE, and Kuwait, gaining extensive experience in complex and high-volume pediatric surgical cases. His expertise spans neonatal and pediatric surgeries, including umbilical hernias, hydroceles, undescended testis, circumcisions, pediatric gynecological surgeries, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary procedures, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries. He combines surgical precision with compassionate care, ensuring optimal outcomes and faster recovery for his young patients.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Mufique is deeply involved in medical education and research. He has over three years of teaching experience in pediatric surgery and has contributed to numerous publications and presentations. He serves as a reviewer for journals such as the British Medical Case Reports Journal and the Journal of Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of pediatric surgery.
