Biography

Dr. Ehab Shehata is a highly experienced Orthopedic Surgeon and Consultant with over three decades of practice in Egypt, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai. Renowned for his expertise in sports medicine, joint arthroplasty, trauma surgery, and pediatric orthopedics, Dr. Ehab has treated more than 10,000 patients worldwide, combining technical skill with a patient-centered approach.

He earned his MBBCh with Honors from Tanta University, Egypt, in 1991, followed by an MCh in Orthopedic General Surgery from the same institution in 1996. Driven by a commitment to advanced orthopedic care, Dr. Ehab completed his MD/PhD in Orthopedic Surgery at Regensburg University, Germany, in 2002, followed by a clinical fellowship in Sports Medicine and Joint Arthroplasty at the same university between 2003 and 2005.

Dr. Ehab’s extensive career spans clinical practice, academic leadership, and international collaboration. He has served as Professor of Joint Replacement and Pediatric Orthopedic Minimal Invasive-Arthroscopic Trauma Surgery at Regensburg University Hospital, Germany, and as a Consultant in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery at Tanta University, Egypt. He has also shared his knowledge globally, presenting at over 75 international orthopedic conferences and mentoring numerous young surgeons in trauma care and advanced orthopedic procedures.

In Dubai, Dr. Ehab has performed more than 1,000 complex surgeries and trauma cases over the past five years, including 5,000 arthroplasty operations and 2,000 major procedures in Germany, highlighting his proficiency in both routine and highly specialized orthopedic care. His practice covers joint replacement, sports injuries, complex trauma, minimally invasive procedures, spine and pediatric orthopedics, and a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.
