Biography

Dr. Anju Elsa Thomas is a dedicated General Practitioner with DHA eligibility and over four and a half years of experience in emergency medicine. She has trained extensively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, including a three-year international postgraduate program in Emergency Medicine (MEM) at The George Washington University. Her experience spans critical care, patient stabilization, and emergency interventions in both ER and ICU settings.

During her tenure as an MEM Resident at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Kerala, India, Dr. Thomas was responsible for diagnosing, triaging, and managing critically ill patients, performing life-saving procedures, and interpreting complex laboratory and imaging results. She also actively contributed to public health awareness programs, training both hospital staff and the community in essential emergency care techniques. Before that, she gained hands-on clinical experience as a Junior Resident at the same institution, where she honed her skills in patient assessment, emergency procedures, and collaborative care.

Dr. Thomas is known for her strong leadership abilities and team-oriented approach. She combines clinical expertise with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, timely care. Her commitment to continuous learning and patient safety has been further strengthened by multiple certifications in Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Point-of-Care Ultrasound.
